January Highlights


We are the first synagogue to host the Travelling Czech Scrolls Exhibition.  It will be on view from 11 to 23 January.


AGM and bagel brunch on 11 January at 11.00am.
Our guest speaker will be Board of Deputies Senior Vice-President and founder of Mitzvah Day, Laura Marks.

Sam Grant, campaigns officer for René Cassin speaking on “Human Rights: Protecting, Empowering, Inspiring—and Under Threat”


25 Jan 3.00 -4.30 pm Lambeth holds its annual Holocaust Memorial Day observance.
Lambeth Assembly Hall, Lambeth Town Hall, Brixton. Speakers include Ann and Bob Kirk, who came here via the Kindertransport.  Open to all.


For our “Fifth Friday” Shabbat Kol Yisrael on 30 January 7.30, the spotlight is on Jews of Hungary. Come learn about the history and the community today.
